Murmuration will transform the Cortex campus into a showcase for new technologies. Equal parts science fair and tech meet-up, the Maker Expo is a place where local and regional enthusiasts, crafters, hobbyists, engineers, and artists will come together. They’ll share with the public their work and experimentation across the spectrum of science, engineering, and art.
STL INNOVATION SHOWCASE
Murmuration is a celebration of innovation, particularly innovation happening across the region. The Innovation Showcase will feature companies, innovators, and entities within the startup ecosystem in St. Louis and the surrounding area. Showcase participants will be demonstrating and exhibiting their product or services.
Art@Murmuration is an exhibit and competition that will feature festival-themed sculpture and installations from invited artists. The first place winner, selected by jury vote and votes collected from festival attendees, will receive a cash award. The winning entry will also be exhibited on the Cortex campus until next year’s festival.
FUTURE INNOVATORS ZONE
Everyone is welcome at Murmuration, even our youngest innovators. The Future Innovators Zone is a special family-friendly area where young and not so young can engage in fun and educational activities and explore the art, science, and technology that surround us every day.
